I taught 34 years, 31 in the East Windsor School District in East Windsor, New Jersey. I taught American history, World Cultures, and Ancient Civilizations on the Middle School level. I also taught elementary school for my first 20 years of teaching. I retired in 2008. I am currently a site-coordinator in Princeton, New Jersey for the Princeton Young Achievers Program, a non-profit after-school program for elementary school children. I live in a beautiful community with my lovely wife. Since we met and married later in life, we have no children.
I'm very proud of the Singleton family. Being friends with Fred, we'd play board games as kids. Kenny would come home from the ballfield and always be very pleasant. Today, it is wonderful to always see Kenny on the YES Network announcing the Yankees. He also had a marvelous major league career.
My closest friends in high school were Ira Schwartz, Robert Lefkowitz, and Mark Gutis. It was great to be in touch with them again thanks to Facebook. I've been in contact with Ira before Facebook. Hope to see you guys soon.
My favorite teacher was Al Pearlman. Hope you're still doing well. We have alot in common. Did Mr. Robinson continue teaching?
