Sophomore year got bounced from MVHS for taking over the school. Black Studies protest and Anti-War demonstration. Quite normal stuff for the late 60's early 70's. Peeved off a number of parents, they got cross; Committee to Return Order Safety to our Schools. Judge Kendall told me I couldn't set foot on MV school property until I graduated.

I went to school in upstate NY, graduated top of my class, president of my class, and student council president. The move did me good, plus my old man didn't let get away with a tenth of what my mom had.

Funny thing after college I came back to MVHS and substitute taught at the Annex, Nichols and the High School and did some Homebound Tutoring for students who like me couldn't set foot on school property.
